Wall Vinyl Instructions

1. Clean your wall or surface:  Be sure that the surface you are applying the vinyl to is: smooth, dry and free of dust and dirt. Vinyl can be applied to walls, wood, glass, concrete, metal or any smooth, dry surface.

2.  Preparing your Vinyl: Lay the vinyl on a flat surface, graphic side up. Remove the air bubbles by rubbing on just the vinyl graphic portion of the decal with your fingers.  Once you have removed all the air bubbles press firmly over the entire decal with the edge of a credit card or similar object.  This helps reapply the vinyl to the transfer tape.

3.  Layout: Arrange your vinyl on your surface using masking tape (on the top edge only), DO NOT remove the white backing paper until you are happy with your layout.

4.  Apply the VinylFlip the decal up and starting from any corner, slowly peel the white or blue backing paper away from the transfer tape, the vinyl decal should be sticking to the tape. If some of the decal remains stuck to the backing paper, stop and rub the decal in that area. Slowly continue peeling until the backing paper is completely removed. For larger decals you may want to remove the backing paper in two or three smaller sections. As you lower your vinyl against the surface carefully rub with your hand slowly across the decal, starting at the top center and working your way out to the edges and bottom of the decal. Once you have removed all the bubbles by hand use your credit card or similar object to finish the application by rubbing over the entire graphic. Once the air bubbles have been removed carefully pull off the transfer tape making sure that the decal is sticking to your surface and not the transfer tape.

Removal:
To remove the decal you can peel it off your surface. If the vinyl is having a hard time peeling off you can use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive to allow the decal to come off your surface easier.
